Amber Bar & Restaurant

Amber bar is brought to us by the guys who run the very popular Alphabet bar. Unfortunately Amber bar falls short for me. Split over two floors the upstairs is a diner with booth seating that serves Spanish tapas style meals. The little bar at the back is tiny, and leads into the kitchen so there is nothing aesthetically pleasing to draw the eye.
Downstairs is a vast improvement. The amber glow from the lighting makes me think I’m on the bedroom deck of the Star ship Enterprise.
The bar downstairs is small but better stocked than upstairs and late on weekend nights you can get a good party atmosphere going. When the DJ is playing and the other bars close, Amber is at its best between 12am and 1am.
It is always a good idea to book a table.
