BAD. Just bad. no. turn around and go elsewhere.
I’ve been here twice and the first time I thought was meh, with the steak. Now about 9 months after my first visit the steak is just terrible. It tasted ordinary, and was over cooked and just plain bad. The cut looked like it was against the grain and not with the grain which was a red flag.
My husband had the pulled pork sandwich which was equally bad. Though he said the chicken wings he had last time were good. So I guess if you go here you should stick with the chicken wings… probably frozen but apparently the best thing here.

Avoid this place.
We’d passed it a few times over the course of a few months but never ventured in, but thought it looked quite nice, and was vaguely on the radar.
Found ourselves on our way home and ravenous of an early Sunday evening, and decided to try it out. We regretted it almost the instant we stepped through the door. The unloved décor (not deliberately shabby, just uncared for) and the non-​existent service (wait staff passed us about three times bustling with Much More Important Things To Do before acknowledging our presence) gave hints as to the horrors beyond.
The seemingly-​microwaved (they may as well have been nuked from orbit) nachos with shredded beef were inedible. In a deep dish the chips had no consistency, and the rubbery cheese had fused them into blocks. Adding insult to that not insignificant injury was the ‘guacamole’ – some kind of tasteless green-​coloured sour cream slapped on from a tub – squatting atop the nachos with the actual sour cream and catering-​tub salsa, along with some jarred and anaemic jalapenos. The caked-​on layer of nacho remnants fused to the bottom of the bowl just don’t even bear thinking about.
Mains. The first was a steak sandwich served in a bun with burger toppings, a sauce I presume was mayo slapped onto an insipid bun. This was impossible take bites of thanks to the resistance each piece of pre-​cut tongue-​sized slice of chewy, sinewy frying steak. The second (for my dining partner) was a bland burger topped with brie (also, oddly tasteless), and some pathetic-​looking onions that were very far from caramelised. Also to be avoided.
One bright note: the chips were quite nice.
But I can without reservation say that anyone thinking about going should avoid this place. We will certainly not be returning.

Went last night with a party of ten and sampled the delights of their Xmas menu — it was great. Three courses, including their most popular dishes (ribs and steaks) for £25 is fantastic value.
I’ve tried their ribs before at Ribstock and they fared well against strong competition so to get a full rack of them is a delight. They come smothered in a sweet bbq sauce, cooked just enough that the meat is tender with a crunchy bark and the perfect amount of grip on the bone.
As mentioned by other reviewers the buffalo wings are the real deal and now do come with a blue cheese sauce.
Our service was great, we were served quickly without feeling rushed and all left happy and uncomfortably full.

I have seen plenty of reviews for this place and they have always been positive so when and friend and I were looking for somewhere to have brunch on a wet Saturday this seemed a like a safe bet.
First impressions were not great. It’s a little shabby and considering it hasn’t been open that long that was surprising, then the the service really wasn’t up to much. The food was pretty awful too, or rather my food was pretty awful. I got the corn beef hash and it was horrible. I couldn’t finish it and I would never order it again. My friend had eggs florentine and that looked a little better. She seemed to like it.
We had to wait ages to get our bill as no one seemed to take an interest in getting it for us. I think we could have probably walked out and no one would have noticed — maybe that’s what we should have done.
Overall a very disappointing experience and I won’t be rushing back here again.

I used to go out around this area a lot when my friend used to live around here and didn’t recognise the restaurant name when I first heard it. Judging from the website and the name, I was expecting hay, peanut shells on the ground and something that might look like Outback from the states… turns out, it’s actually quite a chic and cozy place to have drinks and dinner.
I’ve read a couple of reviews of the other locations and was planning to go for the ribs but heard that they had proper buffalo wings at this joint… and its true! Most places call it buffalo wings on their menu but they are basically regular chicken wings with a little bit of seasoning. After living in Buffalo throughout my uni years, I know what proper Buffalo wings should taste like. The wings are fried and topped off with Frank’s hot sauce. Only thing that was a little different is that they use the whole wing instead of using the halves like they normally. I only wish they had blue cheese sauce to dip it in.
I’ll try and come back for the ribs another day.
