This restaurant does not sell alcohol, fine. They do not accept alcohol from outside, less fine, but still acceptable. Because of this, in order to make some money they WANTEDTOCHARGEUSFORTAPWATER, something never seen before in London. A very picky waiter was adamant about that, after we insisted that we wanted tap, rather than mineral, water. Result? We left the restaurant after 5 minutes, because this is unacceptable. Good job, man.

We were really happy with the dinner we had at Curry Leaf! Started with veggie samosas and followed with lamb jalfrezi, saag paneer, daal, pilau rice and peshwari naan. All were well prepared and tasty. The saag paneer was really good — not dry like a lot of other places but nice and creamy. The jalfrezi also had a bit of a kick to it. All for about £40! Definitely would recommend if you are in the area.

Went to this Curry house with a big group of mates for our football social. Service was good compared to a lot of curry places around, there were always offers of new drinks and tables were cleared quickly. More people unexpectedly joined us and they were very accommodating. Food is good and a big menu. Slightly pricey but it was worth splashing out a bit on good food and service. Service was not included in the bill which was a nice touch, I like to tip an amount which I think is fair. Worth a go, it’s a good idea to book ahead if you are going in a large group.

Delicious! Very relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and VERY tasty food! I generally save Indian food for nights when I’m feeling in flying form as it can be a bit heavy on the tummy at times, but I can honestly say I left The Curry Leaf feeling fantastic– full, but not uncomfortably full and with a doggy bag for a late night snack. And of course, the price was right. I would definitely recommend the Curry Leaf over other Indian restaurants in the Clapham area!
