Donostia Social Club

My first food truck in a long time — too long, actually.
I jaunted up to Kerb at King’s cross a few weeks ago because I was desperate for a good food truck experience, and Donostia Social Club was the only truck there! There were other vendors, but I always go for the truck first, so I had a lovely sandwich and sat on a stool to watch folks go by.
Things I loved:
1. A chorizo sandwich! Tasty, delicious. I’m not a huge fan of rocket, but it’s everywhere in the UK, so I’ve gotten used to it. Having a fresh made, hot sandwich was good though, and a really good price.
2. Comes in a handy, recyclable cardboard box, ready to take away, or eat from on the spot. Very nice.
3. Friendly service, always a plus! In fact, better than many restaurants in London, if you take the time to sit and enjoy your food right at the truck.
4. Lots of options on display too – I didn’t partake, but there were all kinds of smaller, more gourmet foods on the truck too, right where you can see them to choose. That’s a nice touch.
All around, a lovely food truck experience. I like that it’s a Spanish/​Basque influence, because there’s lots of creativity to be had there. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area where they are.
