Great fresh pizzas that literally take seconds to cook in their wood fire oven. A nice selection of toppings and also a good daily special. Best of all the most expensive is under £7 which is perfect for a lunch treat.(Visit — 06/02/2015 Lunch)

This is great pizza. I travelled all over Italy and whilst the pizza I’ve had there was obviously the best, this comes close. Recommended to me by my Italian friends as ‘the best pizza in London’, I was not disappointed. I’m sure there are other sites of Franco Manca in London. This one is inside Westfield shopping centre, you would only go if you’re already there. It’s not a sit in restaurant, it’s in the food hall.

Hands down the best pizza I’ve had. Even after travelling throughout Italy. This place just ticks all the boxes. It’s cheap, they use sourdough, ingredients are all quality, it’s simple and they keep a big wood fired oven ticking over. The star is the dough. I could easily eat it without any toppings. This is probably the best food you’ll get in a mall eatery.

Food is nice but service is slow, poor, unhygienic, disorganise and technology for customer service compare to their peer around, is rather primitive. From the start of the queue, even though you have ppl who’s in the queue, by the cashier, have just paid but was stranded at the cashier due to the long queue, and you are about 4 meters away from the cashier, they kept yelling Next Please. and you have to shout your order across train of customers. The way they prepare the food, if you order salad and Pizza, they would have the salad lay on a plate immediately while pizza is being baked(takes like 10 mins for pizza to bake). The salad is now on the tray and tray moves as queue moves along. Exposing food with train of customers queuing along the line, I’ve seen ppl sneezed into the salad before. Technology for customer service wise, most of the counter gives you a buzzer to let you know it’s ready for collection. Franco M let’s you wait in the queue like a pack sardines as they are quick to take order but slow to progress it. No instruction whatsoever, everyone queues before everyone, stare at the salad/starter/drinks that queues in front of train of customers. Poor customer service with no smile on face whatsoever too. Food is decent but due the the factors mentioned above, would think twice and go somewhere else instead.

Franco Manca is a very very good pizzeria, but at Westfield is an oasis. In the middle of a shopping centre you can’t expect a lot of places with quality or healthy food, but for a fast food treat, I think that Franco Manca is the best alternative.

Contender for the best pizza in London. Consistently good and the long queues reflect that. Try the Spicy Lamb pizza — only available at this branch!

Having spent some time in Westfield today I was keen to try out the new Franco Manca. It is a bit hidden away but I eventually found it. My pizza was good but could have used about 15 – 20 seconds longer in the oven. The atmosphere is, of course, a far cry from what you get in Brixton but it would be impossible to recreate Brixton Market in a new and shiny shopping mall. There was quite a lot of staff and they have two ovens so apparently they are all set for lots of business. I really, really wish them every success in Stratford and hope that the particular corner where they are based becomes just as frequented as the KFC and McD which are a floor below them. If you compare this branch with the one in Brixton it would be a three star rating given the surroundings but since the pizza is of the same quality, four stars it is.
