I’m not one to normally spend this much on something as temporary as a blow dry, but I have to say that I was exceptionally pleased with the results here. The blowdry I got wasn’t just one I could have easily done myself, and I feel the styles go above and beyond what one thinks of a normal blowout looking like. Basically, my hair was disgustingly dirty, I had no time to shower earlier that morning, and I had a concert that evening (performing in) I had to look presentable for.
I went with the ‘smooth wavy’. The girl washed my hair, blow dried it, curled the whole thing with a curing iron, brushed out the curls into waves, back brushed it a tiny bit for volume… what can I say, it looked great! If I’m feeling spendy in the future, I’d certainly do it again.

Absolutely love the Hershesons blow bar at One New Change! The staff is friendly, they will always try to squeeze you in and they are really quick even with my super curly hard-​to-​tame hair :) Some other places, I get the looks like «Girl you crazy, your hair is so curly, how can we do blow dry that mane?» I never feel like that at Hershesons — they are ready to tackle the challenge!
I think all of the stylists are really good, don’t necessarily have a favorite one. You can also collect points with their point collection cards and then get a free blow dry after you get about 10, which is pretty good deal. Highly recommend!
