Khan Kabab

The front of the building says Iraqi Grill with other writing in Arabic, but the menu says Khan Kabab, so I’ll go with that.
Up front is a typical glass case from which you can order a variety of takeaway items such as skewers, shawarma, hummus, etc.
Or you can choose to dine in and sit in a small but cozy back area. There it’s easier to enjoy larger, main courses such as chicken curry or 5 different lamb dishes. I went with shanks served in a tomato-​like gravy on a pile of bread. There were families and groups sharing big platters and huge, fresh baked flat breads — which is probably the best way to enjoy some different tastes.
There might have been one dish over 10.00, with everything else 4 – 8 pound range. A nice meal for a good price!
