Debated whether to give 3 or 4 stars but let’s go with 4 as the food was amazing. The free bread is nice and we had some Hallumi which was cooked perfectly on the grill(a lot of places I find serve undercooked Hallumi). My sis is a regular here and she recommended the lamb shish. Wow, this was definitely the best I have had. So much flavour and the meat was really tender. You didn’t need any sauce with it. I have never tried rice like that before, it’s a kind of cous cous rice which was great. Also the salad had a bit more too it than you usually get and with a nice dressing on. The house white wine was very good. The only thing that let it down was the service. Long waiting times to order and then again for the food. When we did get the food they had messed up my husbands order and he didn’t end up getting his meal until after everyone else had finished so that wasn’t really acceptable. They did give him a small plate of lamb shish so he had something to keep his going whilst everyone else was tucking in and when he finally got his meal he did enjoy it. He had the mixed grill which looked impressive. They took it off the bill at least. Would go back for the amazing food.

I’m surprised that I haven’t reviewed this place yet. I have been here a couple of times. Mostly choose chicken shish. So can say I know this place too well. Like most Turkish places, this place has got beautiful interiors lots of tables. Nothing out of the ordinary. They have a café right next door if you were looking to grab a snack. Will post updates if I go there again.

Love this place and try to go regularly without missing out on some of the other excellent restaurants«popping up» in london. Very reasonably priced tasty food. Well portioned, you could completely fill up on sides. Love anything with lamb neck. Excellent friendly service, if you live in the area you must go

I ended up her to celebrate Mother’s Day with my Mum, I wasn’t expecting much in the High Street of my home neighbourhood, but this place was not bad, it’s right in the middle of Lewisham Centre, inside the décor was very wooden, looked very pretty standard for aTurkish eaterery. The atmosphere was lively but chilled as food very good too, pretty impress with the Chicken wings, Kebab, lamb bits of meat, salad Babs all very tasty. Price wise on the steep side, great I’d say for Birthday bashes or you want to splash out of the odd good meal out, if you’re in the area it’s definitely worth checking out.

Astonishing place! I’ve been here with friends and I can say that I simply love this place! Menu is really great, offers a lot of different dishes and drinks. Food is always fresh, nicely cooked and served in big portions. Staff are polite and welcoming and the prices are reasonable.

I get takeaway from here on a regular basis and have to say how impressed I am with their food, which is unfailingly fresh, delicious, and well prepared. The staff are wonderful. When I come in to wait for my food, they always make me tea or spoil me by offering me a new dessert or something else to try compliments of the house. An oasis in the restaurant desert that is Lewisham High street. Try and you’ll be hooked like me!

I’ve worked near here for years and the large team i work with are frequent patrons of this excellent establishment. The staff are friendly and considerate, food is generous, scrumptious and always very reasonably priced. You will find it is very popular, however, the fast efficient service means that you never have to wait too long. Order something with aubergines, they are always melty mouth-watering loveliness. There is a shortage of great restaurants in Lewisham, so don’t pass this one by, it may look like another kebab shop, but it a little jewel

I’ve eaten in Levante Pide about half a dozen times since it first opened as Turkish Kitchen. Every time I’ve had good, straightforward Turkish food; fast, friendly and efficient service and a pleasant surprise when I’ve come to pay the bill. I usually eat there at lunchtime and it has never been very busy but I hope it weathers this recession. Lewisham needs nice local restaurants to stop it being a ghost town in the evening.

Regularly disappointed at Levante Pide, I often buy their takeaway pizzas & wraps(just because I miss food from home & they’re right next to my flat) and every time I have a scarp with them over something. I think today has put me off forever. We were made to wait for TWENTY –yes 20– minutes for a turkish pizza(we do this where I come from & they take 5min. tops) & they were getting annoyed at my friend for asking where the food was while other people were being served rather quickly. They were collectively rude & intimidating as we dared to question why they were giving us half a portion of lettuce&tomatoes to go with the 2 lahmacuns ordered. So no apology for the long wait, utter rudeness & despicable customer service. At your own risk if you want to try…

I have been to eat here twice now. I have to say that the food just gets better and better. The waiter went out of his way to suggest making up a larger portion of the Levante Grill so that it would stretch to feed the children who couldn’t eat a whole portion from the menu. The main meal will fill you up so no need to have a starter. The Levante Grill at £12 is the one to go for on the menu — mixed grill, rice and chips — what more could you want?
