This is just the sweetest shop. And I don’t mean that in a patronizing way. It’s just THE sweetest. At first I thought it was just a baby/kid’s clothing store, because prints were bold, and colours were bright. That’s true(there are adorable onesies and dresses for tots and fun little playthings that would please both kid and design-conscious parent), but that’s not the full story. Luna & Curious has… candles and clothing and cards and socks and jewellery and sunglasses and clutches and STOPTHEPRESSES! SOSOMANYBEAUTIFULTHINGS! I’m particularly obsessed with fine stackable rings these days, and Luna & Curious has quite a few options(in my favourite: a warm, rose-y gold). Great necklaces. Graphic-print socks to make your grandma blush(or at least: mine). Sophisticated, but still fun, yes? I think that’s the tone of Luna & Curious. Unilocal note: love love love their current punches of neon in unexpected places #childofthe1980s #represent

Stumbled across here when I went to visit the Rock Lobsta pop up shop held on their premises… and ended up buying a few gifts for i dont know who yet(might just keep them for myself) A truly fabulous shop with lots of seriously cool objects, accessories and clothing. I loved the tea sets! Well worth visiting if you like all things quirky. p.s the rock lobsta shop was amazing. Apparently they will be doing various other ventures there, cant wait.

Luna and Curious is a gorgeous little shop which is a firm step away from the shabby chicness of Shoreditch and a nod towards the kitsch vibe of Portobello Road. I love it here — there is a wonderful cutesy collection of homewares, clothes, jewellery and antique furniture. The staff are adorable and are all amazingly pretty in that quaint and innocent 1950’s way. This is a fantastic place to pick up a unique gift for any of your girly girl friends and I always end up treating myself to something in the hope that one day, my flat will be completely kitted out with objects from here. It has received substantial press as a number of celebrities are often spotted here — this is probably also why it tends to be quite pricey. However everything is of a great quality — the detailing in the jewellery is just beautiful.

So I live about ten paces from Luna & Curious, and I must say it’s a gorgeous shop to look at from my bedroom window. With the cutest-of-cute clothes, trinkets and nick nacks, I have never visited the store without falling in love with at least six items! And their tea-parties are RAD — with the most gorgeous girls carrying around teapots and trays of the most delectable cupcakes — I have been known to quickly put a frock on and pop down for an afternoon delight. Delightful, quirky and fabulous.

This little shop is simply so cute with it’s white themed interior and products, making a fun contrast to the scruffy and wild Brick Lane. Selling beautiful items for home, jewelry and some accessories, there seem to disappear from the sefls more faster than I able to visit the store. It has happened more than once that the sales assistant says she is sorry that there is really much nothing to sell as everything is sold out. but I don’t mind. How beautiful ever it is, it is not anything I would desperately need! Alt though the white ceramic bird necklace has been haunting my in my dreams.

Luna and Curious is a haven for all things creative and beautiful. Everything from its simple wooden shopfront to the extravagant text of the shop name and gorgeous treasures inside ooze style and gorgeousness. They have some cool quirky objects for the home as well as brilliantly restored vintage furniture and bejewelled, frilly and flamboyant, as well as simple and sleek, clothing. I love some of the ceramic pieces they sell in here too and the antique stuff is fabulous. This place has great style and a great eclectic vibe going on which adds a spark of glamour to Brick Lane. I’ve even heard that Natalie Portman has visited and bought from this little boutique. It’s definitely worth a look but don’t be surprised if some of the prices are over budget.

OK, I confess, I only remembered to pop into Luna & Curious for a browse yesterday because of all the hoo-ha surrounding Peaches Geldof’s ‘alleged’ recent shoplifting incident in this little Brick Lane boutique. Celebrity spawn and their ‘alleged’ misdemeanors aside, Luna & Curious is a charming and diminutive boutique stocking a mixture of vintage one-offs and contemporary designs along with a good range of jewellery and some utterly whimsical porcelain. Staffed by the kind of sweet girls with kindergarten haircuts that seem to rule in hip places like Brooklyn’s Williamsburg, Luna & Curious is a beautifully realised little shop and a joy to visit whether you’re looking to buy or simply browse.
