I only discovered(or thought about) this shop when I was on my return journey and once more had time to ‘kill’ waiting for my connection. Puccino’s wasn’t going to lure me twice in one day so I wandered over to explore Simply Food. Not that I really needed anything but that wasn’t going to stop me It was quite late on a Friday night, the air was sultry, it was quite refreshing inside the store There weren’t many staff around and a handful of customers I ventured over to the(un-manned) deli counter, although I waited no-one came over. I guess closing was more at the forefront of their minds than serving customers However I did wish that I’d thought of this rather than Puccino’s in the morning. It’s a useful stopping point for a small amount of fridge, household or store-cupboard ‘essentials’ — if you don’t want to go too far or when time is at a premium — but don’t expect it to stock everything you’d find in a larger branch of the eponymous parent store or hope for deli items or hot drinks near closing time.
