Ate here for breakfast on a Sunday morning in March. What a wonderful little find. Cosy, friendly. Best Americano I have ever had, delicious eggs and sausage.

The food is ridiculously good, I almost fear giving the place the stars it deserves lest everyone discover it and it becomes too crowded :)

Loved this place! We were in the area just looking for a small lunch but this place just amazing! Excellent food and great guys running the place. It really felt like a hearty hime made italian treat.

My new favourite breakfast place in Islington. I only came across this place on Holloway Road when I was looking to get something fast as I was walking my dog at the same time. Walking into the restaurant, I saw all the hot delicious meals on presentation looking like a meal that your wholesome grandmother would cook. The restaurant looks more like a café, that’s now become a chilled restaurant — they were even happy for me to bring in my dog — and get in! As a result I order the chicken dish that had olives, eggplant and tomato sauce with a side of potatoes . The chicken was extremely tasty and in terrific sauce… though the serving was too much for me to eat! Though this is no negativity against the meal. The place is very small though, about 7 tables inside and another 2 outside(only appropriate when it’s warm). I would recommend this place with a small group of friends, by yourself, and maybe on a date. Not really for a large group of friends, parties or for business, it’s just too loud.

Cosy friendly café right on Holloway Road, with what seems like a family run serving staff! I was greeted on entry with multiple greetings from the owners who were quick to find out what I wanted! A waitress ran me through their lunch selection which is a variety of freshly cooked salads and dishes, including meat, fish and vegetarian mains. I picked 5 items from the bar and was served a salad on the side for only £8. Considering the huge plate of food I got, including 2 meatballs, aubergine parmigiana and asparagus fritata, it was well worth it! All in all, a wonderful little café on the street that offers fabulous Italian home cooking! The selection of cakes is also great — I’m currently eating a fantastic coconut cheesecake as I type!
