had a grilled sandwich with scamozza cheesed melted in, was fantastic but way too greasy with roasted paprika inside! (mingled w cheese :)

This was our best meal while visiting London and we nearly missed it as it sits well off the street in an unassuming building. Dried meats and wheels of cheese sit on shelves and hanging overhead as they do in Spain or Italy. A little prosciutto, a bit of morto, some Parmesan, grilled veggies piled high to gnosh followed by fresh pasta and plenty of wine. We were there late on a Saturday and every seat was filled. Family owned and run; a little Italian helps if you have it.

The gnocchi with bufalo mozzarella was fantastic. Small, family owned restaurant. Very reasonable prices for the neighborhood. Three generations of family working. Small details are there, and great atmosphere. Daughter was playing music from her phone so some fun tunes came on.

Food was passable, but potentially the worst service ever. Wine was delayed. Meals were served fifteen minutes apart. Food looked great, but lacked any real flavor.

Excellent italian food. Just happened upon this cozy hidden gem for lunch with my parents. Not the fastest service but the food was worth waiting for. Beautiful ingredients (amazing tomatoes from Italy) and everything was freshly prepared with finesse and authenticity. I can see why there are so many Italians in there. We were especially happy with the burrata dish (yum), the tomato salad, and the grilled vegetables with cheese bruschetta.

The best half-​hidden gem I’ve found since moving to North West London. Fantastically fresh and generous amounts of food, very friendly staff, lovely, welcoming and light dining area.
Will be returning asap to privately hire.

Paseando por Portobello, muertas de hambre nivel nos desmayamos porque encima hay como 30º (seguro que no, pero hacía mucho calor e íbamos poco veraniegas).
Una chica nos estaba llevando a una pizzería que conocía pero derepente un callejón llamó nuestra atención, se veía un local muy mono italiano y dijimos GO!
El sitio monérrimo, lleva abierto desde enero según nos comentó la camarera.
Todos son italianos, de verdad.
Yo me decanté para beber por una Moretti grande (la chica quería que la compartiese, cosa que desde luego no pensaba hacer y finalmente se comprobó que tenía el tamaño justo para sin forzar acompañarme toda la comida).
No tienen pizza que hubiese sido mi elección sin duda alguna, así que tras varias ojeadas a la carta me decanté por los raviolis rellenos de ricotta y espinacas con salsa de tomate y manzana. Tremendos. Me faltó pan para rebañar porque estaba todo de olé.
Mis acompañantes tomaron la lasaña de ternera y unos macarrones, ambos tenían una pinta estupenda.
La cuenta ascendió bastante debido a mi cerveza que si no recuerdo mal costaba 7,5 libras (prefiero olvidar toda la pasta gastada…) por lo que me salió sobre 17−18£.

We went for late lunch. Still packed at 1:30.
fantastic paninis… ham/​cheese and a roast pork/​veggie… both very delicious.
will go back again.

I was delighted to see this little gem open in Portobello Road.
The staff are super friendly, the food was fresh and authentic.
A fabulous Italian Deli.
This place is hidden at the back of an indoor market selling all sorts of beautiful jewellery and clothing.
