Well stocked and friendly «old fashioned» toy shop, with a little bit of everything (toys, books, model kits, etc). Well worth a visit if you have (or are buying for) little ‘uns and are in the area… but not a budget shop! Although there are plenty of pocket money toys, the prices are relatively high– £2.99 for a twin pack of Shopkins vs £1.75 in Argos, for example.

Despite being ‘Nappy Valley’ there are not many toys shops in this area. This Child Magnet is in Northcote Road but avoid Saturdays when kids go to spend their pocket money.
The shop is small and often blocked with buggies but the selection of toys is good, for every age. It is an ‘old fashioned’ shop but we have always found everything we wanted there — and more.
Well worth a visit, regular prices, helpful staff (usually 2 men!)
