Love a bartender in a tux, very nice service. Not very big, which is fine. Prices are reasonable.

The Cavalry Bar and Palace Lounge is an excellent place to chat with a mate or a date while in the Buckingham Palace area. Until my stay at the Rueben’s Hotel where this elegant lounge resides I had no idea there was afternoon tea time in the UK. The atmosphere is relaxing as the noise level is just right when there isn’t a musician playing in the evening and usually the musicians are pretty good. I will forewarn as the afternoon tea time isn’t for the faint of heart as it is over 27 pounds but could be worth it depending on the company. The cozy arm chairs are just right in the evening when winding down after a long day in London or in my case after another exquisite day.
