The saying, you get what you paid for is definitely true. My gfs and I are on a trip in Europe and found this place as a «pop up» on Expedia which means, the rates were cheaper. Bad customer service at the front. Our shower didn’t work, the toilet took forever to refill (from flushing, you can’t have the door open (from the hot water’s steam) or it will set off the fire alarm and yet there isn’t a vent either… I say stay away.
It is very old and outdated and very small.

I stayed here for a week a few years ago and found it to be a comfortable spot for exploring London without spending a fortune. I like a quiet neighborhood to come back to at end of day, without being somewhere too dull. This fits that bill nicely.
Older, large rooms, a bit dated, staff was fine. Tube is an easy walk.

Great location just up the road from Chalk Lane Farm Tube and Camden. Camden is about 15 minutes walk but it’s a nice walk. We stayed there so we could watch a Concert at the Roundhouse and it was perfect for that.
The place was ok, not perfectly clean and the staff were as useless as they get. The drink prices were made up as they went along and I would not touch the food with a bargepole
Good location but that was the only good thing about it
Very expensive!
