This restaurant was recommend to me by a colleague who had recently been to Thailand and said the food was as the most authentic Thai hes had in London, so I thought I would try it out. If you have read my other reviews you know I love Thai food and have many Thai friends (mostly so they will cook for me) so authenticity is very important to me. Well I get there and its not a Thai restaurant but a pub, so I am having reservations about authenticity, but decide to try it anyway hoping for a diamond in the ruff. The food is distinctly average but its not overly priced, and the sofas are comfy all and all its a good evening. That is until I am ill in the bathroom, which with my allergies is not uncommon. Now the second time I go back because I was in the area and fancying Thai, I order the pad thai to be on the safe side, and my boyfriend orders a shrimp curry, he has no allergies and a pretty strong stomach but this time he is the one ill at the end of the meal. Maybe it was a coincidence, or just bad luck, but we won’t be trying our luck a third time.
