Was visiting my cousin who lives just down the street from this place and we decided to pop in for a pint. This place is great, the guys were very welcoming of a few yanks who just stumbled off the plane from Los Angeles. We got to talking with a few of the regulars in there and they were a cool bunch of lads. I recommend the cold Guinness on tap, its wicked but I would go for the ½ pint as the pint can get filling. Warm nuts in the vending machine are also really good, if you like your nuts warm — HA.
All in all, a fun, authentic English pub to unwind in. Cheers mate!

A nice little pub on the Acton/​Chiswick borders that sells well looked after Cask ales and the usual Lagers. A bit expensive, but a great little place to escape from the rat race and have a quiet pint. I didn’t eat here, so I can’t comment on the food, but other punters looked to be happy with their meals.

The stag has just had the whole front of the pub changed for the smokers of the world!
They have added heaters and window boxes plus awnings which has resulted in a whole new room being made out of nothing.
The inside has had a makeover too and is very friendly.
Large tv screens for all the sport and pool and darts.
Good local and full of some real charcters.
