Nice place to go if you would like to relax with a glass of wine or two. The Wine Parlour is s quite small place, so I assume it can get a bit crowded. We went on a Saturday and were lucky enough to get some seats by the window. They have a small menu for wine by the glass, but you can of course buy a bottle if you prefer that instead. I tried the house red, and it was quite ok and some other I dont remember which was ok too. If you want to splurge a little there is that possibility as well. Be sure you ask for a recommendation, they know their wine from what I can tell. They have some small dishes as well, we only went for some olives. Price was midrange, not cheap, but not too expensive. Good place to hang out before exploring more of Brixton.

Such a refuge in a sea of pubs that is Brixton. I love sitting at the stools in the window. The wine is great, lighting is good, and they are always playing good music that goes with the ambiance – bossa nova, old jazz, etc. One of my favourite places in the neighbourhood

Two of my friends who live in Brixton took me here for wine and cheese, and it was absolutely lovely. First, I loved the ambience. Very civilised and cozy both in terms of its interior and patrons. We sat at the bar, and it was just as good as sitting at a regular table. Noise level wasn’t too bad, and I felt right at home. The wine and cheese were great as well. We ordered a bottle of red and a cheese platter for two to share. All the cheese were fresh and served just in the right amount. After the platter and a bottle amongst the three of us, I felt full as if I had just eaten a proper dinner. Overall, an amazing place in the heart of the up-and-coming Brixton!

I readily admit that I avoided the Wine Parlour. It looked like a chain and it initially left me scratching my head, «Wine bar in Brixton?» But we finally went to check it out and was very pleasantly surprised. There is great seating at the windows so you can watch the world go by as you sip some nice wine. We shared the cheese and charcuterie platter which was fun to eat with the pichet of house red we were drinking. The service was great. Very friendly and down to earth. I look forward to coming back!

This is a really lovely wine bar in the heart of Brixton. It has a really good wine menu and knowledgeable and friendly staff. They are more than happy to let you try before you buy and are happy to make recommendations. Wine can be bought by the glass or by the bottle. For nibbles there are cheese and biscuits, the perfect accompaniment to a good glass of wine. The atmosphere in here is welcoming and cosy and the staff are lovely! My only negative is the seating which is made up of stools and not very comfortable but drink enough of the delicious wine and the numbness in your posterior is soon forgotten!
