Feeling a little flaccid? I bet a visit to Via Agra will help you regain your potency… The little lunch place is pretty much the same like so many other London lunch places: a deli counter, plain & forgettable design and the smell of(fried) food lingering in the air. The staff is very friendly and overall it really feels like a family-run deli. Apparently they’re from Naples… I’d come here following the recommendation of a friend, whose office is just around the corner and who frequents this little deli a few times a week. His favourite item on the menu is the grilled tortilla wrap with mushroom chicken, pesto and cheese. And indeed, it was really tasty — especially given the fact that it’s only £2.50 for one or £4.50 for two! I’ll definitely be back…

You have to give many brownie points to this sandwich bar for how out there their name is, I guess the connotation is that it gives you stamina to keep on going in a hectic working day, kind of like the ‘Duracell’ bunny. Like lots of the cafes of the area, its clentele is mainly office types suited and smart grabbing a quick lunch for a few pounds. In the menu jacket potatoes, sandwiches with the usual fillings and a pasta bar. I’d recommend the latter. It tastes quite good for about £3.50 a plate and you get some bread too. Or go for the healthier option, and choose from their salad bar, a large salad is about £4. Lunch is a busy time and the service can get a bit unfriendly, understandably. Give it a try even if it is just to say that you have eaten in Via-gra
