The Works is the Lidl of the bookshop world. You never know what you’re going to find, it’s generally reduced, and the store tends to run to a comfortable level of chaotic. I tend to stop in quite frequently just to see what their latest offers are. I’ve only ever bought one book, although their cookbook selection is often quite good. I generally get most of my craft supplies(work with children) here as they tend to be considerably cheaper.

The Works is a slightly odd, but quite enjoyable, chain of bookshops. The special offers they run are usually very generous, with huge discounts on books that are slightly out of date or in low demand, and you can pick up surprisingly cheap books and art supplies. It’s a bit cramped, but the low prices and friendly staff make it worth a visit, especially if you’re after art supplies, pens, paper, and celebrity autobiographies. Rather you than me

this shop is filled with books stationary cards and arts and crafts things and you can get some great bargains. it has a large selection of childrens books which ive often got a great seller book for as little as 99p and the same with cookery books this shop always seems to sell the books at the cheapest possible price so i always have a look in here first before even looking in the more expensive shops like wh smiths. the only bad thing about this shop is its quite small so there ranges are limited but its still a great shop to have localy to me

The Works is in Arndale centre, in Luton. It has got books, stationary, greeting cards, craft items and gifts I really like this shop sometimes the books are on sale. The books are normally high in price but not all the time. Sometimes they are on sale. The Works has really interesting books some that will that will keep children busy. Sometimes there are really good bargains. Recently we bought a set of three Disney photo albums for just £5, whereas it was for at least £10 elsewhere. We need to keep an eye to grab the bargains. The shop is bit narrow to move around.
