I don’t often spend evenings in Maidstone but as I was getting married the next day near by I thought it would be rude not to try one of the local restaurants.
Myself, my best man, his wife and a couple of friends decided to try Frederic as it was highly rated on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed at all.
We arrived in time for our 7pm booking and we immediately seated.
The service was prompt and friendly and the food was amazing.
I had the foix gras which came with a lovely glass of stickie sweet wine. Duck breast cooked to perfection as a main and apricot tart as a dessert. I think between the five of us we tried pretty much everything on the menu! As we a bottle of prosecco, a bottle of red and a bottle of white. To top it all off we each got a free measure of liquor to finish off the evening.
I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. It’s location is great, just off the main street in Maidstone and the atmosphere is perfect French bistro.
