I recently made a trip to this branch of Nando’s and it seems I had forgotten to review it, but no business can avoid my wrath, in the form of a Unilocal review. This branch of Nando’s is in Manchester Fort and served halal chicken, the only difference from halal to standard chicken is how they slaughter the animal. They was a short wait to get a table, which I didn’t expect for a store in a location like this, when they is rarely a wait in the Manchester Arndale branch for example. The staff didn’t seem too great, they seemed to be «babying» me if anything, the manager went through everything with me about gluten free, even though I told her I am a regular and I know what I normally have, and honestly I am not stupid and I can read a book, I know how to order and they just mark gluten free on the till so as well as wasting her time, this is a key factor in making my experience a bad one — It just seemed she arrogantly thought she was better than me, and didn’t trust me as a regular to the chain. This isn’t the nicest of stores, it is set out like a jungle in a way, with palm tree replicas in the middle of the store, it does have blinds to block out the sun but it still isn’t a nice branch, as you can see from my video it is very noisy too and lets be honest, who wants music to be played that loud? The pricing on the chicken meals is good/average but it is quite poor on the drinks, as it costs about £2.60 for a small, iced tea meanwhile«unlimited» fizzy drink can cost £2.50, which prices out those who do not want a fizzy drink as they have to pay more for a drink that isn’t refillable. The portion size compared to other branches was quite small, and my food wasn’t up to the standard Nando’s should be, I admit it was edible but in all honestly it wasn’t great quality, the Lemon and Herb flavour didn’t stand out to me, and the Nando’s chips which I normally like, were not too great either. I am honestly struggling to even give 2 stars to this branch and it might have to be changed in the near future, but when you consider the issue with the volume of this store, as well as the staff, some pricing issues and the quality of the food, I really think this branch doesn’t deserve a high rating.

This Nando’s isn’t pretty bad. It is situated at the Manchester Fort which is just over mile away from Manchester City Centre. We were greeted by a fun girl said we can sit anywhere so we decided to sit at the back. It it really modern inside and I liked the place. Would definitely recommend this place.

This is my local Nandos. Got to love a bit of chicken wrap with Halloumi. No fries. That’s a sin say the gym gods! It’s usually ok to get a table in this one. Always full of muscle Mary boys straight from the gym. I’m not one for a full chicken lol so I stick to my wrap but they do look good and value for money. The little booths are good at the back for a few of you. All in all a nice tea time experience. Great for kids. The refillable drinks and yoghurt go down a treat. I left a little tip for you true Unilocalers!!!

Nando’s is on the Fort retail park just outside Manchester city centre an area called Cheetham Hill. Nando’s is a Portuguese chicken restaurant. They do all different flavours for the chicken, you can have quarter of a chicken with two sides or half a chicken, alternatively they have chicken wraps as well as a vegetarian option. Upon entering you are allocated a table and you go up to the till and play place your order as you pay. Then they bring your meal to your table when it is cooked. They do a range of alcohol and soft drinks and if you want a soft drink it is unlimited soft drinks. Deserts here is from a limited selection but the fat-free frozen yoghurt is amazing and they changed the flavour every day.

This Nandos is pretty good! Its located at the Manchester Fort Shopping centre which is quite close to the city centre in Cheetham Hill, We was greeted by a fun girl who said we could sit anywhere, so we sat in one of the booths at the back, its really modern inside and loved the look of the place, This place is a prime place for chicken lovers and they do it good!!! You order youre food from the desk and then you can choose what size chicken you want and what sides you would like, there are also many other delicious items on the menu, you can then have youre chicken cooked from hot to medium depending on how youre tasebuds are, their are also many sauces on the side so you can have as much Nandos sauce as you want on youre chicken and chips, You can also get unlimited refills on soft drinks! Ive gotta say I’m a huge fan of Nandos and there yummy chickens and this Nandos is pretty good and ill be back when I’m on this side of town.
