Been to this place twice since discovering it about a month ago. It has a relaxed atmosphere and a nice vibe to the place with very friendly and polite staff but it gets better… The burgers from here are definitely some of the best burgers that I’ve had before, much better than handmade burger Co and also at a much cheaper price. The deal they normally offer is a burger, chips(regular or sweat potato) which are really good and a bottle of coke for £10 which is a bargain for the quality of the food! If your looking for a bite to eat in Newcastle with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere at a fair price i’d definitely recommend Burgerstop!

It’s a burger joint. No candles in bottles. No tablecloths. No flowers on the table. Simple wooden tables and chairs beneath you and industrial chic above you. In front of you awesome juicy burgers and top notch chips with their jackets on. Burger Stop isn’t the place for a romantic date but its a great place for a great burger. Super polite and friendly staff too!

Wow, it is hard to find a place in Newcastle that still serves food after 9 pm on a Sunday that isn’t a kebab shop! Enter — Burgerstop. We’d been waiting for an excuse to go, and this was it. It’s basically a fast food joint, but one with table service and alcohol! So even better. Our server was very friendly as well. I was dying for the fried chicken sandwich but they were out of it, alas, so I got the«Bean Thinking About A Change» which is their veggie burger made of sweet potato and chickpea, topped with red pepper hummus. I’ve forgotten entirely what my fiancé got, but let’s just say it was definitely beef. He scorned my choice! I was trying to be healthy! The patty was actually delicious, but totally soft and fall-aparty. They call it «falafel» on the menu but it really isn’t — don’t expect it to be crispy. It was far more delicate than that, but had a great falafel taste. My fiancé thought his burger was fantastic. They’re about £7−8 each, so a bit pricier than fast food, but my impression from him was that they were way better. We also got slaw and sweet potato fries on the side as burgers do not come with sides — both were very good, excellent versions of what those dishes should be. We’ll definitely be back!
