Xmas night out and was a great laugh cheap and good atmosphere from going through door the cheery doormem made us welcome and then a turn on rodeo bull all free! The next day video wasn’t as funny though!

I know I am getting old but I don’t think I have ever seen the attraction of places like this, expensive beer with a rowdy atmosphere and rubbish too loud music, I suppose it is not trying to be intelligent but I would prefer it if didn’t purposely try and attract the dumb crowd, I am probably being a little snobby but I just cant bring myself to like this place, maybe it’s the people who drink in places like this but there is just something not right about these places that seem to cater exclusively for the stag parties, Newcastle is far more than stag party central but you wouldn’t know if you went to this place on a Saturday

Sam Jacks is a large bar in Newcastle located very close to the Gate complex and Tiger Tiger. The bar is set out over two floors with seating areas at the back. There are two long bars on both floors which never take too long to get served on. Downstairs there is a Dentist Chair where revellers can sit back and have drinks poured in there mouths by scantily clad women, there is also a bucking bronco. The staff and doormen are friendly and there are large, clean toilets. Some of the crowd there can seem a bit dodgy but there is rarely trouble.

I personally strongly dislike Sam Jacks. I find it incredibly tacky (girls in bikkini’s with bottles of corkys). The music is really too loud and I hate all the remixes they play. The drinks are quiet cheap and the service is quite quick even on a Saturday. However I still avoid the place cause it’s dark, packed and they have girls dancing in bikini’s that always make me feel like a tramp no matter what i’m wearing.

Sam Jacks is a very lively American themed bar set over 2 floors. Female dancers and male break dancers are often on show which creates an energetic atmosphere. Other popular attractions are the rodeo bull and the dentist’s chair. Sam Jack’s is very popular with students who flock for the drink promotions on Monday’s and Wednesday’s. There is a range of seating from sofas to stools but more room has been made available for standing and dancing as it gets very busy. I am not a huge fan of Sam Jacks as I find the whole concept a bit tedious and cheesy but many others disagree and go back time and time again.
