Good pizza and very friendly staff. I don’t tend to go here much but am always happy when I do. One great aspect of their takeaway pizzas is that you can mix and match ingredients. Just say what you’re keen on that night and they’ll sort things out.

As a last-minute, impromptu stop on what I had anticipated would be a busy Friday evening, I was surprised to find the restaurant as quiet as it was.
This was my first visit and suffice to say I was extremely pleased. The food was reasonably priced and delicious, the house wine was perfectly acceptable.
Service was amiable and efficient, despite our indecisiveness and incessant pre-meal conversation, they staff were very patient and tactful.
I will definitely be returning here as well as recommending it.

Formerly known as Cibos, this classy Italian restaurant is very popular amongst the locals, in particular attracting a quite sophisticated clientele. Situated adjacently to Penarth train station, and with nearby parking, it’s a convenient establishment to access. From the outside, Sugo portrays well the type of restaurant which can be found inside, with its stylish and well maintained exterior representative of the high quality and professional standard provided.
Inside, guests will be greeted in a very friendly manner, before being seated in the vibrant, yet relaxing atmosphere. The menu is of a very high standard, taking a different form to the various Italian chains which can be found in most inner-city areas and towns. The pasta dishes in particular are exceptionally nice, with generous portions and excellent presentation making them a real hit.
