I took some visitors to area here on impulse and felt really let down. We had to sit downstairs so no view as I had hoped for. The furniture consisted of cheap, wobbly metal tables and chairs. The food seemed like bought in stodge. The vegetarian option was clearly a bought in, microwaved concoction and my guests’ roast lunches were ghastly, nothing seeming fresh. They insisted in playing tinny sounding music quite loud even though the place was empty and the service was sloppy at best.

We liked this place. The service was a bit slow but the food was worth the wait and the place has a relaxed atmosphere so the time passed easily. Good selection of local fish and other dishes, reasonable wine list.

We love this place. You can sit downstairs or outside and have coffee or if you want to have a meal in a lovely cosy room with solid wood booth type seating, then go upstairs — the choice is yours — we’ve had both and would definitely recommend.
Our meal was excellent, the vege option was filling and very tasty and my steak was cooked to perfection and just melted in the mouth.
