This restaurant is really in a most bizarre place and you’d not really expect much of it when you look at the exterior brick box next to a car sales place at the bottom of ‘power station hill’. Do not be deceived. It’s one of my very favourite restaurants. It’s quiet, so you can actually hear your co-eaters speak and attempt an intelligent conversation. The tables along the edge separated by long curtains are positively romantic. The food is excellent, the service cheerful and the price totally reasonable. If you are driving to have a meal out this is the place. Have no idea how you’d get to it otherwise.
