Great food and friendly service. Our only gripe was that they forgot our garlic bread and a round of drinks and we had to remind. Make sure that an even number of you go so you can take advantage of the 2 for 1 offers.

very good first time visit, great 2 for 1 but would be expensive if you are dining for one … not the greatest for quality but that’s what happens when it’s a 2 for 1 deal would much prefer no gimmicks and price to reflect seems popular would defo go out of my way to go again (after ripp off Blackpool) … pleasant staff a credit.

Easy to find off the main Blackpool Rd on the way to Preston, I visited this pub tonight to try out their carvery (£5.99, all you can eat) following a recommendation from a friend. And I wasn’t disappointed. Food was excellent, good service, and plenty of space/choice of tables (admittedly on an early Tuesday evening).
Real ale is served as it is a Marstons’ pub (Pedigree was on offer, along with one guest ale, and Banks was also there). Lots of parking available. Worth a visit.

Try this place only if you’re eating in even numbers! This place offers its main menu as BOGOF. This sounds great but when a main meal cost between 10 – 13 pounds it’s more like paying a standard pub meal price on 6 – 8 pounds per head. Saying this a really do think its worth at least one visit. The layout and décor is warm and friendly and staff always greet you pleasantly on arrival.
Service is quick and food always arrives warm. This is a chain of pubs so don’t go expecting home cooked food, it is however good quality food for what it is.
If you visit ensure you take a look at the ‘specials’ board which on some days containing more options than the menu!!!
