Awww this pub seems nice — a friendly lady running the place(I have seen her behind the bar, serving food, collecting glasses and showing people to their rooms!), a nice outside garden with a play area for kids, a good selection of drinks — but in terms of B&B this is a no go. It is right by the station, a train crossing which loudly announces a train every 15 minutes and a road with traffic continuously going past. The rooms are a nice size and not badly decorated(although a few pieces of furniture are a little shabby and a few pieces are a bit tacky) with all the bits and bobs you need supplied but the noise! THENOISE! The pub downstairs seems like a nice local and the food your standard pub grub fare. Come for a drink or two but not a good nights sleep!

I recently stayed here while attending a friend’s wedding(I traveled in from the US). I found the staff to be friendly and courteous and the room was clean and pleasant. The inn provides a nice breakfast, and, as the previous commentor notes, drinks seemed fairly priced. The inn is very close to the Shoreham train station, which is convenient for travel to Brighton and London. Additionally, it’s only about 10 minutes walking to Adur waterfront. I would recommend the Crabtree to anyone looking for a nice room in Shoreham.

Another family Bash tonight at this well known pub. Very easy access from the station which is convenient for all. Drink prices are comparable to most other pubs in the area, but I’m not having much tonight, well not after yesterday!!! They laid on an excellent buffet priced at £6.95 a head. not bad I suppose. During the week they have a £6 or under Lunch menu which isn’t bad, but I feel your’e better off with the Daily main menu. Brilliant staff.
