Tony’s was our favourite chipshop when visiting Skegness however lately they have started cooking to order even when there’s people around unless its the school holidays, surely they cant be that hard up they cant waste a few chips or a fish for the convenience of better service. Also they used to do a special haddock chips & peas for £5.95 which was just about fair considering the portion size but now they have discreetly omitted the word special from the menu and charge the same price for haddock and chips which we feel is overpriced so will in future find another place to dine

Food was ok. Chips and beans were excellent but fish was dried up and tasteless.

Probably the best location to have fish and chips in skegness, but bear in mind the portion sizes are very small and its quite expencive for what you get. great place for fish and chips is mablethorpe.

By far the nicest chips in Skegness and Its not at all expensive. Its that popular you often struggle for seating outside the chippy. However the seating is a little cramped but the food makes up for it.

Lets just say I’m local and this is my local chippy! Out of all the chip shops in skegness this is the one we always go to. The prices are reasonable, the food is always great, theres no wonder i never lose any weight! The fish is always nice and fresh and delicious. I can honestly say i’ve never had a bad experience eating there.

Like one of the above reviewers we too stopped off in this chip shop just on the off chance and have made a point of stopping in every time we go down whether it be for a day trip or for a short stay. The food is excellent and the chips are real, not this frozen rubbish you get else where, the fish is allays delicious and the food is always priced reasonably. Staff are friendly and polite, and the premises are clean and well looked after, only downside is that the outside eating area is next to the busy junction for the central roundabout but apart from that this place is a great place to stop and get something to eat

We stopped here by chance on a visit to Skegness, and now, no trip there would be complete without it! Great tasting, hot and fresh fish and chips, served quickly and with lovely crunchy batter — there’s not much more you could ask for really. It isn’t amazingly cheap, but it’s worth it. The only downside is that there isn’t any indoor seating, but there are tables outside to sit on — bear in mind this is Skegness and this chippy is near the seafront, so you’ll probably be eating your chips in a roaring gale — hell, why not go the whole hog and eat them whilst walking along the bracing beach — they taste so good you’ll almost forget the weather!

this is a great chip shop which i always goto when i am at skegness because the chips are incredibly nice the only reason i have put four stars is because the fish has gotten a little pricy and sometimes it gets so ful that you cannot sit down but that is only because it is so good and if you can afford it the fish is definetly worth it because ive had loads from there and never had a bone

You just have to, have to, have to have fish and chips from this chippy! No trip to Skeggy would be complete without it! This chippy was almost burnt down during the massive fire that engulfed much of the sea front a couple of years ago. However, lucky for us, Tonys was spared! The chips from here are unbelievably good and have been for many many years. The fish is fresh and batter crispy. I’ve never had a bad meal from here and continue to go every time i’m in the area. Trust me — you will not be disappointed!
