Very much in the centre of Southampton. The staff are some of the nicest I’ve ever come across. They’re helpful, chatty and happy to cater for allergies as best they can. I have a gluten allergy and they seemed very aware, knowing what I could and couldn’t eat. They removed soya sauce from my meals to ensure that they were gluten free. I love their chicken fried rice and cooked vegetables. The only negative so far is that their prawn crackers seem to vary in quality. Sometimes they’re lovely and fresh and other times they’re a little old and stale. All in all my favourite Chinese in Southampton so far!

Is a great little place in the centre of Southampton, close to all the shops, banks, and transport links available. The food at Tangs is very nice, being freshly made on order. Tangs offer a great lunch buffet menu. Everything you order from the menu is freshly made when you order it, its not out for grabs on plates and portables hobs like most other places due when there is a buffet. The variety of food at the restaurant is very impressive considering its location, and the food never fails to impress. The waiters and waitresses are all very nice and pleasant and make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Perhaps the only downside of the restaurant is that its neighbour is KFC

Now this is not as nice as the Pilgrim house near Ocen Village, but if you are in the area for a shopping lucnh then this place is better than the ocean Dragon at the other end of Above Bar Street. The food is lovely and the price for the all you can eat formula is only 8 pounds for lunchtime. the setting is a bit simple but the service is good and so is the food.
