Interesting choice of burgers with variations. During our holiday we visited the Hub 2 times. Both times totally happy with our choice: Bella Burger, Boston Roll, Smokey B Roll and a «Today´s Special» with Beef, Goat Cheese, red onion jam, slaw, pickles and handmade fries. You can see that the fries are cut from the potato since the skin is still on. We have absolutely nothing to complain about. Staff is friendly but they seem to disappear when you want to pay. Tables could be more clean and the music is(depending where you are) quite loud. The restaurant has two storeys and below a DJ is playing music for the evening. On the above floor you have a balcony with sea view. Very nice, when the weather is fine(which it wasn´t in our case ;-)) The burger size is okay, but difficult to eat with all ingredients piling up. Big pile of fries, little spoonful of slaw and pickles. But tasty! We liked the restaurant and most of all the round booth to sit in.

Hungry after a blustery winter walk on the beach. Have been here twice now and both times the burgers were juicy and delicious. Lemon spritzer was a tasty and refreshing non-alcoholic side! Good location opposite the water and a nice busy atmosphere. Seats did look like they had had kids dining prior to our arrival but otherwise clean and tidy

Die Lage über dem Hafen von St. Ives ist schön sofern man einen Platz draußen ergattert hat, wir haben dort einen Burger gegessen, ok aber auch nix Besonderes

Great little BBQ spot with great views of the harbour. Food was lovely, the mac & cheese and beans/burnt ends sides were excellent. Great service, staff were super helpful sorting plates and cutlery for a cake we brought in from elsewhere for my little girl’s second birthday. Solid beer selection too.

It takes a lot for an American-style burger place with the word«MEAT» in large block letters covering half a wall to win my vegetarian self over. Especially after waiting nearly an hour to be able to order, going to the bar three times and being told«we aren’t taking orders for food yet, the time’s been pushed back another 20 minutes» each time. My hungry friend and I were both grumbling that the food had better be good at this point. We were trying to be content with the gorgeous views of the beach from the upstairs dining room. But when we finally ordered and got our food, we were very happy with it. I was happy about their multiple veg options, but I went with the most unusual sounding one, the Betsy — mainly goat cheese and roasted red pepper, with a bit of fried aubergine thrown in. Okay, I adore goat cheese. Maybe you just can’t go wrong with a whole bun full of it. It was delicious, and I devoured it along with my tasty chips(I also appreciated that they didn’t assume I wanted an iceberg lettuce salad with my burger as many places do). Food saves the day!

Loved my burger that I ordered(big kahuna — contained 24oz beef burgers, pulled pork and BBQ sauce) one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Was a long wait for them to take our order(at the bar) due to the kitchen not taking any more orders. Had to go to the bar a few times because they kept pushing the time back. However the food was delicious. There are fantastic views of the harbour from the upstairs seating area. There are a limited number of outdoor seats available upstairs which have overhead heaters which would keep a mild chill away. The menu is a little limited(it can be viewed online). I would definitely go back here if I was in the area again.

Great ribs, burgers, ale, onion rings, and brisket. The staff were friendly, and the prices left nothing to complain about. If you crave BBQ, stop by for a delicious meal.

The hub is a really lovely leave to stop and have either breakfast, lunch or evening meal. They do a really great hub tray that has 2 hot dogs, 2 burgers, a macaroni cheese, coleslaw, chips and salad all mini style to share for only just under £20 they do really excellent children’s food too and they are quite good sized portions so for your older child they are good. Always stop and have bite or drinks love it.

I have visited the Hub several times and all I can say is that the burgers are of outstanding quality and taste. Whenever I am in St Ives I pay this lovely restaurant a visit. The location is perfect, prices very reasonable, the relaxed atmosphere is really inviting and the service is great. I usually treat myself to their tasty hot chocolate after my meals served with a generous portion of whipped cream and marshmellows. Yum! This place is highly recommended!

Sat down at midday today to an uncleared and messy table. Waited for fifteen minutes before we were approached by one of two waiters who appeared to be serving downstairs(waitresses seemed to have jobs upstairs). A callow youth came eventually and took our two lattes order, communicating with us in the modern parlance. The dirty plates from previous customers were taken, but the table remained unwiped. Fifteen minutes later, without our coffees and having long decided that there would be no tip, we walked out. On the way a customer asked if we had been served and when told no, she said that we were not the first party that she had seen walk out unserved.

This is not generally my kind of bar. Cocktails are rife and it looks like it’s trying to trendy. It may be succeedingI wouldn’t know. It’s certainly all new and shiny. One of the few bars in town with no ale. Stella lingers with intent. What appeals about this bar, compared to most bars of this type, is its location and the way they exploit it. Located on the sea/harbour front in St Ives, the bar has a completely open from entrance, which means everyone can sit and people watch and sea watch. I had a seat at the front and it was a cool place to kill some time. There is an upstairs area, but I didn’t get a look at it.

The place to be on a summer’s Friday night in St Ives! Get there early — upstairs, on the balcony. Sip Corona with lime whilst looking over the harbour, watching people pier jump and seals bob around in the sea. It gets busy from about 9pm-10pm. If you’re going into town for a meal, stop here first to get in the true holiday spirit. They also have an extensive wine list, a selection of local and international draught and bottled beers, and plenty of spirits! Hub also serves food(which I’ve never tried although been tempted!) and coffees/teas/alcohol during the day. This is the perfect spot to just sit, chill, and people watch any time of the day.
