Spending a week in Penzance for a friend’s birthday, we visited by recommendation the old station house at Lelant (the station is still in use and trains pass by now and then, but only stop on request)
The couple has a fantastic location, wonderful garden with lots of birds and features but best of all they do an amazing Cornish Cream Tea in the garden (along with many other things on the menu).
As part of my friends birthday we visited for afternoon tea, and it was just perfect, the owners could not have been nicer, they even put a birthday candle in the scone !! now that is personal service we don’t often se any more.
If You are around St Ives /​Penzance it is well worth a visit and a nice day to enjoy they old world charm and relax with the birds in the Garden.
