Das Union Inn liegt in einer Seitenstraße direkt hinter dem Hafen, im vorderen Bereich sitzt man sehr gut, hinten ist es sehr dunkel und «müfflig», das Pub Essen war traditionell und qualitativ gut, Freitag und Samstag Live Musik

The Union is is an odd pub strangely lacking in atmosphere. It has a Weatherspoons quality about it and it seemed more of a food pub than a drinking pub. However, the food didn’t look great (a laminated picture menu always puts me off), in fairness the fish specials looked more appealing but were quite pricey for this sort of establishment.
We had planned to eat here but the lack of atmosphere really put us off and we decided to move elsewhere.
There are a good number of pubs and restaurants in St Ives, this is probably one to avoid.

Good small boozer for couples or standing at the bar, locals are friendly. Not a corker, but worth a look.
