Great location just a short walk from the Thames. Drinks are well priced and my family enjoyed a Sunday roast which was really quality. Huge smoking terrace that is covered. Great spot for watching live sport. Kid friendly and staff are very polite. Good Experience

Big neighbourhood pub, full of the middling sort– lots of middle-manager types, with wives and families, on a sunny weekend afternoon. Neither cool, nor homely, it clearly serves a need.

Great place for a sunny day. Plenty of good drink choices. The Pimms seems like a ripoff but you get a big glass. Only had the veg roast. It was good.

Came here for a long sunny lunch on a Saturday. The beer garden is indeed very pretty and well laid out. I found the interior to be a bit Shoreditch. Beer wise they had a cool collection with some local beers(apparently that makes a pub cool these days). Food wise I pulled a very long sad face. I tried the lamb burger which was dry, overspiced and quite bready. I also had a bite of my friends beef burger which was just as dry and tasteless. Dry lamb? yes, I’ve experienced that now. And chips? Sorry I mean frozen fries. The food was a disappointment, but id go back for a drink.

Ate here late and the place was dead with the exception of a bachelorette party and a few other people. A more family-friendly type pub with a friendly bar staff. The atmosphere was nice and the local IPA was pretty good considering I am not a fan of IPA in the USA. Got the bangers and mash and it was pretty good. I am not sure I have ever had bad bangers and mash. Our group of four was there until closing and I always forget how early pubs close in the UK. Not much fun there, but it gets you home on time. I would recommend this place which is maybe a 10 minute walk from the station. In an otherwise quiet neighborhood.

Went to the Grove on a cold winters evening and had the ultimate winter food, a Cheese fondue while we sitting next to the fire. Yum. The food and atmosphere at the Grove is very good.

Great place to just chill. The food is always good and great place to take the kids — they have a massive garden with kids area. Love it.

The Grove is a great place to eat and drink. I go there often with my partner and son for Sunday lunch. It’s great for kids with the play area in the garden. I’ve also spent time there with my partner and friends. Food — great, drinks — great, staff-great, atmosphere — great. I recommend this place to anyone. I will be going back again for the duck salad! Enjoy;)

Coming here on a Sunday for their roasts always cheered me up. It used to be our loca, and it’s more one of those«gastropubs» than anything else. Quality food, friendly service! It’s got a nice cosy inviting inside décor. And has a nice big garden.

THe Grove is your average locals pub in surbiton, its a lot quieter than the other pubs in the area. Its reasonably priced and nice to sit out in the beer garden in the summer. Could do with some doing up outside but on the whole its ok

Despite a recent makeover, this pub is pretty average. The range of beers is pretty good but the food is very poor. The outside area is a boon in the summer months but the children’s playground could do with a complete overhaul to make it more child friendly which is a shame given the size of the beer garden and the fact there are many young families in the area that would fancy a beer while their children play in the summer months.
