Morgans Bar

Went here for coffee with my mum and some of her friends one Sunday morning. Despite the hotel actually being closed to the public for a wedding reception that day, they were more than happy to let us come in for coffee as long as we were out by 12pm. The barman quite happily brought our drinks over and conversation was regularly distracted by watching the rest of the staff set up for the reception. They were more than accommodating to us, in spite of being quite obviously busy (and nobody shouted at my mum when she insisted on sneaking a peak at the wedding cake!). Having never been to Morgans before, I was quite impressed with it. Mum hosted a lunch there last weekend and was similarly complimentary about the food and service they had too. Very good indeed.

Really good upmarket bar in Swansea! As a student I was never really a massive fan of Wind street, but Morgans has a great chilled out attitude, and they have a great cocktail menu, and if you’re a fan (or can afford) the bubbly stuff, they even have a champagne menu. I’d also recommend their light bite menu, which in my opinion is actually serves more appetising food than their main restaurant.
