Good cheap food and its proximity to the University makes it popular. I have not been over enamoured with the quality of the cask beers though.

Just re-opened after a re-furbishment, although to be honest, if you had been there before, I don’t think you would notice much difference at all. We called in here last Friday, with the intention of trying their new «Fair and Square «menu, but the place was absolutely packed, and we were told there was an Hour wait for food (which is fair enough) so just had a drink instead. The prices on the the Menu seem VERY reasonable with a lot of «2 Meals for £10 «deals, which probably explains just why they were so busy. Got to be a good advert for this Pub overall, I would have thought…

Are you an eternal student? Nostalgic for your student days (before loans that is)? This pub is very popular with the Swansea student crowd and Singleton Hospital staff/patients. Known to the posh as the «Inn on the Lake». Outside activities for children — when it’s not raining. Food is traditional pub fare with an occasional foray into the mediterranean. Smells wonderful, tastes ok but cheap and cheerful so who cares?

This pub is very simple, but it’s the location that really makes it worth a visit. As you can probably tell from the name, it’s right next too a pond 9funny that), and if it’s a warm day I really recommend you sit outside as the atmosphere is so nice and really chilled out. Heaven! Plus it’s on the doorstep of Swansea Uni, so great place to celebrate the end of exams (or commiserate depending how they went)!

Nice day out for the family plenty to do for the kids. Meals are OK, just like wetherspoons or a harvester, staff ok, but slow to clean tables andeep on top of general duties.

I went to this pub a few weeks ago with friends and family, we had no trouble booking a table in advance for 20 people.
There was a lot of things on the menu, I ordered chicken and chips. To place your order you go up to the bar where they take your order.
I was shocked and surprised as to how quickly our food was served, I think it took less than 15 minutes for it to come to our table!
The food taste great and they have an offer on at the moment 2 meals for £10.
The staff served us quickly and were very friendly, the pub was very clean and tidy.
I really recommend the pub on the pond if you want cheap good food
