Évaluation du lieu : 5 Uxbridge, London, United Kingdom
Although this was not one of the first Indian restaurants in Uxbridge, it is owned by the fella who owned the first one. The first one was called the Taj Mahal and was located in Vine Street, now redeveloped, so the owner has been in the business a long time(since the 70’s — possibly longer) and knows the ropes. The food in the old one was superb and the standard of food in the Raj has not fallen and is as good as ever. You can expect good and polite service and some of the best Indian food available anywhere in the UK. It’s not a big restaurant, so it gets a bit busy on Fridays and Saturdays, but if you have to wait a few minutes for a table, it’s well worth the wait. Weekdays though, you probably won’t have to wait.

I believe this was the first Tandoori restaurant in Uxbridge. Ideally placed in old Windsor Street. Parking is a nightmare, but you can park in the Chimes Shopping Centre or Tesco’s shopping centre. Food is good, staff are very good as well. The owner also owns the Kohinoor in Uxbridge. I have been there a couple of times, and have enjoyed my meal.
