Temple Fusion Bar & Restaurant

A Lime Pickle that I actually like! That is the main thing I will take away from this restaurant! Lime Pickle sounds like something I should like — so many times have I tried and many times my ‘ick’ face has been seen, but not this time!
Unfortunately I’ve forgotten what my main was. I’ve looked back at the menu and cannot figure out what I ordered or indeed what I would order. I know me and my four friends all enjoyed our meals though — so that’s something, right?
Turns out not all lagers taste the same as I have been known to say! When they accidentally brought us Carlsberg instead of our Indian beers we all noticed immediately. Turns out Indian lager is smoother. I’ll let them off this minor mistake due to it having been a busy New Years Eve.

Ware is where its at for New Years Eve! Temple Fusion provided amazing sustenance for us to enjoy our night of celebration and ring in the new year the right way. We arrived for dinner at about 7:45pm, and were seated immediately. The modern restaurant was an unexpected one for the small town of Ware, but it looked really nice.
We had 5 in our group, and though service was VERY slow despite not being very busy, we all enjoyed our meals immensely. It ended up being okay that it took so long. We were better able to talk and enjoy each others company while still enjoying a nice Indian beer (King Fishers versus Cobra was in full effect at our table) than we would have been at the pub we were in at midnight.
The papadoms were delicious and I really enjoyed all four sauces/​chutneys that accompanied it. One seemed to be a simple salad of red onion, cilantro and cucumber. Simple or not, it was fresh and delicious especially when paired with the creamy green yogurt sauce.
Chris and I got the Onion Bhaji and Hara Kebab for starters. We both tried each one and were very impressed by both. The large Bhaji were fried nicely and great with the papadom sauces. The Hara Kebab was very flavorful spinach and potato balls stuffed with cottage cheese and roasted cashew nuts.
For our mains, I ordered the vegetarian korma, which was perfectly flavoured. One of the better korma’s I’ve tried. Chris ordered the Murgh Kathmandu. The chicken breast was seasoned very well and lightly spiced. It was stuffed with fresh butter nut squash, cheddar cheese and paneer. It was served with a nice little salad on the side.
Everything was quite good and I can imagine that we’ll be back for a second visit when we’re back in Ware.
