I last reviewed in December 2012, well December 2013 I organised not 1 but 4 Christmas meals here. What can I say, the meals were amazing, everyone, over 50 people on 4 occasions, said it was the best Christmas meal they had been to. Will be booking again this year

Haven’t used this pub for years, when family had it. There was a family wake yesterday and the care taken by the staff was outstanding. Excellent food, really hot!!! The atmosphere was warm, confortable and relaxing on a very sad occasion, BUT, for me, the compliment of the day must go to the coffee. Absolutely brilliant blend and plenty of it. I should find out which make it is. Watch this space! We will be going there again for the food. Well done and thank you.

The Cricketers has been around for as long as I can remember. It’s situated in Broadwater near a parade of shops near the green. In the winter it is a cosy pub where you can have a chat with mates. A traditional type pub. I’ve mostly visited during the summer months when they have a pub garden open. My best memory at the Cricketers is when we went out to their annual beer festival. A marquee was set up with a range of real ales, a BBQ was running and children were happily playing on the lawn area. Worth a visit it’s a really friendly pub.
