This small family run hotel on the edge of the Cotswolds and on the route of The Cotswold Way for walkers. A small hotel with just 8 bedrooms of which are clean and a decent size. I was in room 3 which overlooks the Market Street(although no Market) and another local Public House. Nice plesant public areas including a recently refurbished restaurant which is relatively modern but still in-keeping with this old building. There is also a bar area where lots of the locals enjoy a wide selection of drinks including 4 cask ales, 4 draught lagers and Guinness, as well as a local Cider(Ashton Press). The Front of House Staff are all very friendly and accommodating namely Nicola, Emillia, AJ and Flo. The owner of the property is frequently on site and ensures everyone is made to feel at home(David). The food is good, many dishes cooked in-house and mostly ‘to-order’. I couldn’t find anything negative to say about this property and(I for one) will be back, they are gradually refurbishing the hotel and what has been done to date is nice and tastefull. Well worth a visit, the room rates are excellent, and includes freshly cooked breakfast to individually placed orders.
