I visited during the day to look around, and since I’m Catholic, I came back for Sunday mass. as noted by other reviewers, this is an actual place of worship and doesn’t charge admission. I’m still annoyed at having to pay an entry fee at York Minster (which I noted in my review of that place).
it’s beautiful inside, and the acoustics at the mass were good, which sometimes isn’t’ true of these old stone churches. definitely worth a stop, even if you don’t attend a service here.
