Cocoa Colony

Had an iced latte. Did not disappoint. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to try their chocolate drinks!

The chocolate is really really really good!
I love dark chocolate with its bittersweet aftertaste and this place does have a good cocoa.
The menu is varied and simple. It has a bit of everything. From breakfast pastries like croissant and pain au chocolat, muffins, ice cream and cakes to sandwiches for lunch. Beverage includes many types of hot cocoa (different grades from milky cocoa to the 100% dark chocolate level and even alcoholic version), coffee and tea.
It looks like a corner food stand catering to those who needs some sustenance to go, but there is a tiny counter at the side (just 4 stools) for those who want to sit down and take a breather.
I love that you get the option of having a cinnamon stick for your hot cocoa. It adds a different dimension to your drink.
The latte is surprisingly good, smooth and with no/​low acidity.
The double chocolate muffin is to die for! I love the dark chocolate chips in the soft and moist muffin. A bit too crumbly though and the dessert fork is just too small to scoop up the pieces.
There is a nutella banana walnut cake which caught my eye *drool* That will be next on the list of things to try.
