Amazing quality + variety! We stumbled upon this excellent spot when trying to find good Italian coffee. We ordered #16 Café Bianco and everything was superb. Not only was each item incredibly delicious it was a *LOT* for just one person. We will go back for sure!

Não venha se está com fome. Atendimento demorado prato pequeno e mto caro. Dont come if u are hungry ! Terrible

Had lunch here, food was yummy. the staff was very nice and accommodating. I don’t speak Portuguese, so it was really sweet that they were so patient with my friend and I; also helped us figure out a tourist spot we were looking for!

It’s been a consistent favorite of mine for many years now! I love their coffee (and most often come for breakfast). The service is always wonderful, reasonable prices and most times more food that we can eat. We still love it!!!

This place was packed but we found the dishes very cheesy. We ordered the eggplant pizza which was really good, but the mushroom pasta was all cheese. pretty much a mac and cheese dish. The service wasn’t great either. mehhhh it’s ok.

Sempre uma escolha certa. Comida boa, serviço atencioso, ambiente agradável. Conheço as duas casas na Zona Sul, a de Ipanema na Garcia D’Avila e a do Leblon, no Shopping Rio Design. Gosto de ir durante a semana, no almoço, quando oferecem o cardápio gourmet executivo (3 pratos a escolher de um menu que muda diariamente, mas com excelentes opções — preço fixo 42 reais). Pergunte por ele, vale a pena.

After soaking up the rays on the beach, we decided to head into one of the side streets and found this little gem. On a Sunday afternoon the place was pretty full though we were able to get a table right away. This is definitely in a fancier area than some of the restaurants we went to so I felt a little underdressed in my beach gear.
We ordered an orange juice and some other orange looking juice and both were delish!!! The OJ was so fresh… maybe they were squeezing the oranges in the kitchen as to why it took a while to get. For an app we had the fig and Brie bruschetta which had a heaping pile of some sort of dried meat — soooo good! For lunch we had the salmon quiche and salmon omelette. The quiche was heavenly and a nice portion size! The crust was super flaky and the salmon had a nice smoked taste. The salmon omelette was also tasty but the eggs were cooked a tad too long. Both dishes came with a green salad which I didn’t eat because I loved to main dish so much.
Ambiance is very cool and casual! The staff were very friendly and welcoming!

Délicieux resto italien servant des spécialités de gnocchis, risottos, et pâtes en tout genre autour de 50 rs. On commence par une corbeille de pains et foccacia accompagnée d’appetizers (ATTENTION: 16 rs en plus sur l’addition).
Le vin au verre coute autour de 30 rs.
Coup de coeur pour les Gnocchi Alessandro & Frederico au gorgonzola, noix et jambon fumé (exceptionnellement bon et exceptionnellement lourd) et risotto à la burrata (Très bon aussi).

Second visit and so impressed! Not only the the waitress remember what I wanted to drink from my first visit the service was fast… but not rushed. Great food… simple caprese salad to but just perfect followed by the rigatoni bolognese… AMAZING. Everything is better by candlelight accept pics if your food. Take my word, you won’t be disappointed!

If the photos I took are any indication, our lunch at Alessandro e Frederico was quite the savory affair.
Primely located in Ipanema, this café serves up a fantastic lunch and also offers the pre fixe executive menu option (where you can select a starter, entrée and dessert) for a set price. The three of us ordered off this menu and found each dish to be super fresh and well-​flavored.
My penne primavera was simple but perfect, my neighbor’s steak dish (offered with rice and baby potatoes) was equally toothsome and our guest’s fish of the day (lightly fried topped with a homemade sauce and served with rice) was sublime. While we weren’t sure what to expect, Alessandro e Frederico proved to be a wise choice.

O pior desse restaurante e o atendimento, eu fui la com minha esposa em seu aniversario, o comida” uns caneloni” vieram enrolados em um plástico quando nos falamos com o gerente o senhor Gonçalo Paiva ele não deu nenhuma solução nem DISCULPO-​SE, ele não falou nada, nos ficamos sentados esperando a reposição do prato mas nada aconteceu quando voltamos a falar com ele nos ameaçou com ligar para a policia, em conclusão ficamos com fome e com o aniversario arruinado, PESSIMO restaurante, ma comida e o pior atendimento eu tem visto na cidade do Rio de janeiro

Tem como dono o Sr. Fabrizio Giuliudori, tipico Italiano.
As pizzas tem preço médio acima de R$ 30,00 e são maravilhosas.
