A great place on the way to the Gatineau Hills. Warm atmosphere and friendly staff. It is also a good place for locals to hang out and come in for a coffee – which I do on a regular basis as I live in Chelsea.
The food is delicious but they have a tendency of running out of their sandwiches, scones et c. on a regular basis. Maybe running out of food isn’t such a bad thing as it means that their food is excellent (which it is) and that it is going to be very fresh (which it is). If you do manage to find something to eat here, their panini are excellent and their cakes and scones are wonderful. They make their own desserts and they have a homemade taste.
A great verandah to sit outside in warmer seasons. This is a place that is well-​taken care of by the staff and anyone that comes here seems to feel as though they are taking care of this mini-​institution in their own way too simply by feeling at home.

I love that this place is so close to home for me, I like the food, the drinks, and the price while a little higher than the norm, is well worth it. They have a new cook and a new baker, and I can say I really notice the difference. The girls who work there are lovely, the only reason I knocked off a star was because the service can be slow.
This is the perfect place to take a book, sit out, enjoy the sun and a latte.

Nous sommes passés ici juste avant de se balader dans le parc de la gatineau.
Nous avons pris un scone à partager avant notre balade. Il était au bleuet et citron, très moelleux et avec un glaçage de citron sur le dessus qui lui donnait un gout divin. Cuit comme je les aime et même en le partageant à 2 cela nous a tenu au ventre jusqu’au repas du midi :)
Justement pour le repas du midi nous avons pris chacun un combo sandwich + salade. Il y a plusieurs types de sandwich qui doivent varier suivant les arrivages. Dans notre cas nous avons pris le jambon + brie et le végétarien (avocat, mozzarella, épinard). Ils vous les font même chauffer pour que le fromage soit bien fondu. Même 3h après cela était vraiment bon alors sur le moment ca doit être au top ! Super pain et ingrédient, la tranche de jambon était par exemple bien épaisse. Cela faisait longtemps que je n’avais pas mangé un si bon jambon !
Au niveau des salades nous avons pris une salade de pâté avec thon. Il y avait aussi des canneberges séchés et des oignons. Le résultat était parfait pour accompagner le sandwich, idem pour la salade de légumineuse.
Au niveau des prix un combo de la sorte équivaut à 12 $ avec tx, ce qui est tout à fait raisonnable vu la qualité.
Très bonne découverte que je vous conseille fortement si vous êtes en ballade dans le coin pour un casse croûte :)

Reasonably good coffee. But likely some of the better coffee available up near Fortune/​Chelsea. Pannini was tasty and fresh. And baked treats looked delicious.
Been 2 times now. Will be back when I’m passing through or headed to fortune. Lovely warm interior to warm up.

Needed a coffee. Did a drive thru of Chelsea and decided to try Biscotti.
Glad we did. Décor is cute with a blackboard wall (chalk cow art!), wood and more wood. It’s a nice space!
Staff were pleasant and attentive. (It appears that perhaps other reviewers feedback have been taken to heart — no sign of the owner, but we still got great service and everything was clean.) ;-)
We ordered coffees and a Queen Elizabeth Cake. It was quite different than the QE Cake my mom made, but very enjoyable.
Overall prices are what one would expect for a coffee shop and for the area.

Biscotti presents a pleasant environment. Food is o. k Service uneven. When owner is not there, servie is poor. Please give option of panini only without salad. Why pay for salad when you don’t want it. Waitress says that not giving option is a way to charge more for the panini.
Paninis usually cost $ 5. at this place $ 11. Much too expensive for quality. Lots of bread but little cheese or vegies.
Patio could could be cleaned at the back. Dirty boxes on the patio is not very appetizing.
