Historique

Fondé en 1990.

Valhalla Pure Outfitters began as an integrated manufacturer and retailer of ~Valhalla Pure~ brand of clothing in 1990.

Vancouver Island has been served by Valhalla Pure Outfitters since 1991.

New locations opened in Nanaimo [1995] and Courtenay[1997].

Currently there are 13 brick and mortar VPO stores and an estore site [shop​.vpo​.ca] serving the adventurers in our markets.

I opened my first Valhalla Pure Outfitters location in Victoria in 1991. Nanaimo, Courtenay, Vancouver and Vernon followed in the proceeding years. The Millstream store in Langford opened in 2007 and that is the location that we consolidated our Victoria operations to in 2009 at the end of the lease on the downtown store.

The Millstream Village store is awesome with 3x’s more space to show off all our great gear.

My winter passion is alpine skiing, including masters racing. My kids and wife are skiers, too.

In the summer hiking and biking are our main activities.

I keep pretty busy running the Victoria, Vancouver, Courtenay and Vernon locations.
