I believe they THINK their customer service is good and all but working in a service industry the most common mistake that people make is not being friendly enough. Being polite is one thing, but if you come off giving an unfriendly feeling towards your customers, then you failed. Service Industry 101.

DISAPPOINTED with Delivery Pizza 1. Terrible pizza with almost no toppings; we feel cheated with False Advertising(they did not deliver what they advertised) 2. Complaint process non-existent. We ordered 2 pizzas for exhausted friends who arrived after a long day of travel. Neither pizza was recognizable as ordered. Both were bare-bone dough with a scrap of tomato sauce and a few chips of cheese. The large Meat Lover had only 2 pieces of pepperoni and the medium Canadian had 2 tiny pieces of mushroom. They were hardly edible, as they were mainly dough. Two days later, after some thought, I phoned their Delivery # to complain to manager. The male voice I got said, «I am acting manager.» After my complaint, he said that he could do nothing, as this happened 2 days ago. He directed us, in future, to call them immediately after getting an unacceptable order. I told him that he could still pickup the uneaten pizza in fridge, but he said that it is too late. He offered no alternative solution to make this right. It is obvious that keeping customers is not as important as cheating customers, for profit. We will order from Anyone Else. My questions: 1. If they check our phone number, they will see that we order often and never complained in past; why not accept our word and make restitution this one time? 2. Or, why not place Computer note attached to our phone number, for a free pizza next time we order?

For some reason, I haven’t had Pizza hut since I was in high school, but my teenage self remembered the pizza as being alright. Fast forward 12 years and I get a flyer in the mail advertising a gluten free crust. This had me kind of excited since I’d developed an intolerance to wheat. I made a mental note to give it a shot the next time I craved delivery pizza(which is almost never). Fast forward another 6 months and I am finally trying it out. I have to say that while delivery time and service was awesome, the pizza was pretty disappointing. It was literally cardboard thin and the toppings were barely there. I think there were about 4 pieces of peperoni and 3 mushrooms. Also the pizza wasn’t sliced. I should have taken a picture of the sad little thing. If only to post here. Pizza hut is on the right track offering GF food, but I think it’s a WIP.
