Subway

Of all the Subways, it’s one of my favourites — especially in the nicest part of Richmond, Tera Nova.
Even has its own fireplace and lounge chairs.
Come here during the day when it’s not too busy.

I wanted just a cheese sandwhich, no mayo and extra pickles. Yes they managed to screw this up not only once but twice. They charged me in error for the combo even though I didn’t ask for it nor did they make it.

When I found out that the Subway was replacing the Quiznos from before, I was elated. The service from before was horrendous. Perhaps this would breathe fresh air into the old establishment. I went a few times and received average service. However, the last time I went was horrible. I ordered a steak and cheese footlong to go (toasted). With a few olives and a tiny bit of lettuce and ranch sauce, I took it to-​go and ate it at home. After the first bite, I noticed there was no cheese in it. Living close to the Subway, I didn’t think it would be a big deal to drive back for the cheese. The employee looked at me and inspected the sandwich as if I were lying. When he concluded that there was no cheese, he quickly put some in and rewrapped the soggy sandwich. I asked if he could toast it again. He unwrapped it and threw it in the toaster and returned the sandwich to me. The sandwich turned out to be extremely unpleasant.
TLDR; this Subway experience has been disappointing. I was trying to be as patient as possible because I didn’t want to sound demanding. The employee in my opinion was quite lazy. Skimping on the ingredients and providing poor customer service has ruined this for me. I will not return.
