Great lunch spot if you’ve got a lot of time! Food is tastey, though of inconsistent quality. It’s clear the side dishes aren’t always fresh. Everything on the menu has meat in it. If you can shrug off the bad service as part of the experience, I’d recommend the kimchi fried rice, ordered without pork.

The only reason for a two star is that the waitress is really attractive. She should be a model. Her attitude towards her job is so bad it’s funny. Everything is answered with an eye roll yet all smiles when the customer looks up. The food was meh at best. Kimchi pork was gross. It tasted like it was nuked and served. Sides of veggies may have been from frozen aisle. Service is reeeediculous. A group of 3 Asian girls came in and no one was around to greet them. For almost a minute, they were all calling«hello» and not a single response from staff. I thought maybe the staff went off to do a hit of weed. Anyways I would only come back to perv on the hot server. She knows who she is cuz she’s the only one there that is a 9. There’s a Slice Pizza across the street. You might have a better experience there.

Small taiwanese café that serves good food with matching lousy to very lousy service… not so clean place… the floor is very sticky and the way on the rear exit so messy and filthy… street parking i didnt check the rear if theres parking in there… they have free wifi which is good atleast it compensate for the sticky floor… hahahahhaha… i had the taiwanese beef noodle, fried chicken for my appetizer and a water melon strawberry slush. the waitress just put my chop stick and spoon bare on the table… she never even ask me if i want a catsup or chili sauce for my chicken and soy sauce for my noodles… haizzzz…this is the worst im near end of my meal and theres no napkins,… this place badly needs a wholeday house keeping service… i wish they will improve this aspect of the business coz i see a big potential to this business, foods are great and yummy… noise level is morethan the normal one, well to start of… servers speaks loudly to each other its like an umplifier was implanted to their throat… another place that is CASH only basis… i think most likely ill not gonna go back to this place… sowrieeeeeee,…

Based on my one and only stop here, I would come back for sure. My coconut milk tea was nice, and sweet and sour chicken w/rice really good actually. I actually also enjoyed the atmosphere and lighting at night and being the only non-Asian here, listening to the banter, I quite enjoyed.

Just barely. No wonder their 41st sister one closed but I digress. Really is for those living by the Joyce condos, and need a quick fix. Find the tapioca pearls not the best texture. Above average décor, a yellow theme with some bench seating in the back. Maybe date material for a casual one. cash only.

The place is a hole in the wall. The lady messed up my drink a and didn’t seem to care and the service was really really dead slow for just 1 person in the shop. It was slow that I missed my 41UBC bus in spite of having ample time between bus departures. Bathroom is no better. As for the taste of the bubble tea = dull. Very disappointed considering the wait for the tea in the first place.

The best features about this place is seating, parking, and sky train accessibility. There aren’t too many great things to say about service, food, or prices. The bubble tea is average, and the price is comparable to other places that are better. The food is pretty much the same story as the bubble tea. I’ve had a lot of different flavours of tea, and I’ve tried a lot of different dishes, and over the years not much has changed. My favourite dish is probably the spicy tofu with rice, and my favourite drink is chocolate milk tea with pudding jelly. This place definitely has potential. If they just improved their service more, it would make a world of difference.

Looks like it hasn’t changed much since the last time I was here. Taiwanese pancake — quite tasty, with the egg and corn mixed in. Deep fried tofu — just like at the night market. It wasn’t as fresh and hot as I would’ve liked though. My 2.5 star rating stands.

I came in with my mom the other day after our little walk around the neighborhood. It was a hot, sunny day and we wanted a Taro and Coconut Slush with Pearls. We paid the bill which was $ 3.94, and waited. Five minutes later they called us and said«We have no pearls, do you want it plain or replace it with something else?» I replied saying«It’s fine and I’ll take it with no pearls.» My mom and I waited again. Twenty minutes later we still haven’t gotten our drink yet. I went to the counter to ask since the people behind us(during the ordering process) had already gotten their drink. They told me that it will be ready in 30 seconds. Two minutes later, our drink has arrived. The slush was pretty good, maybe could of put more sugar since it wasn’t as sweet as it was suppose to be but waiting for approx. 30 minutes is pretty worthless. Wouldn’t come here again.

I would say the only place that saves this place is it’s location. Situated across the street from Joyce-Collingwood station, it’s a convenient place to stop by for a quick fix. However, their service is lacking with nobody there to greet you nor sit you, and their food is mediocre. Their Taiwanese chicken is over fried, noodles too bland and rice too oily. The drinks used to impress me(especially the Ferraro rocher) but now are lacking in flavour and ingredients. Place to go for a late night quick dinner for cheap, but if I was given the choice to go elsewhere, I would.

I decided to give this place a try as I was passing by. The drink selection posted on the window seemed interesting and reasonably priced. However, when I was seated, there was the same drinks with a higher mark up. They should really update what they post on the window as it was a bit deceiving. However, I really wanted a drink so I settled for a Logan ginger tea. My friend ordered a mango slush. The service was very, very slow! The mango slush came first and then I waited and waited for my tea. I had to flag the server and it seemed like they completely forgot to make my drink. My tea was good. However, the service was not.

I think the best part about this place is the location(5 minute walk from my house) and it’s convenient for my friends since it’s right across from Joyce skytrain station but… the service is S-L-O-W. They are ALWAYS understaffed. I think I’ve been here about 9 times in my life and never have I encountered speedy/acceptable service. They always have 1 — 2 servers at most on the floor, and this place is always busy because of the location — you’d think they’d get the hint and hire more people, but nope! If you’re ordering something to-go it’s not too bad since they put to-go orders higher on the priority list, but if you’re eating in, good luck. You will have to flag down the server maybe 5 times to remind them that you even ordered anything.

I just love the meal here! 10min for take out and I just enjoy the Asia food, highly recommended to come for dinner! (Warning: Cash only)

The bubble tea used to blow my mind when I first moved her in January. However, over time(5 months!), the standard seems to have fluctuated even more crazily than my mood swings when I’m having PMS. At times, the tea is watery, or depending on what flavor you get, the favors could drown you in its taste. The pearls could either be great, or tasteless, or soggy and tasteless. So consistency is definitely not a strong point of theirs. The food however… Is ALWAYS good. Good by the standards of a Taiwanese food place. Tasty, fresh, and not too salty. The last thing they could work on is getting some of their staff to smile a little more. But besides that, this place is definitely my haunt, on days and nights that im just too lazy to make dinner :)

This is down the street from where I am staying at, so I decided to give it a try. Like many of these shops, they offer a wide variety of flavors and in different forms, such as slush, milk tea, fruit juices… I walked it to a few people waiting for their drinks, but the girl took my order once she got done with the prior customers. It didnt take too long to blend up my drinks(4 orders for the family). Now here was the good thing I must say. $ 3.75 for a large size bubble tea. Now the staff were nice the parking looks to be difficult as you have to find it on the street. The price and portion is great. As far as my Ferrer Roche’ bubble tea. it tastes great!

They’ve updated the décor since the last time I was here 4 years ago, but it seems that their service has kind of gone downhill. Or maybe adulthood has made me more impatient? No let’s go with the first one. I came here with my boyfriend for some afternoon bubble tea since it was finally hot in Vancouver and although we were given a seat fairly quickly, it was impossible to flag down someone to take orders. I was waving my hand every time the girl looked up but I wasn’t sure if she was so in the Zone in making tea that she didn’t see me or was purposely averting her gaze. Eventually we gave up on waving and just went straight up to the counter, where she took our order but didn’t ask us if we were eating in or taking out. When our teas came they were in the to-go containers so we just shrugged it off and took our teas and left. For the teas themselves, I agree with Marc D. that the fruity flavoured teas seem to be of the powdered variety. For their price I think you can get better elsewhere in Vancouver, at places that use real fruits.

I think this bubble tea place is owned by the same owner as another bubble tea place on Victoria and 41st Avenue(Tea Works) and the one close to Metrotown. The menu items and prices were the same so I got the seafood hot pot. My friend got their fried tofu, veggies, fried chicken wings and condensed milk toast. I ate some of her food, and I ended up getting the stomach flu. I’m not sure which of the dishes were contaminated, as my friends also ate the food(except for the seafood hot pot) but didn’t get sick because she ate less than me. I gave it more stars than it deserves because I think their food is quite tasty, but because I got the stomach flu, I will not go there again.

They have a decent choice of powdered bubble tea and juices but sometimes it happens they run out of certain things. The place is usually busy but the wait is never that bad. Service is quick and straightforward, don’t expect a hug or a smile. As for the food, everything I tried was really good. Tasty. My girlfriend and I love to go back once in a while for a bite to eat or a bubble tea. I could make a list of all the foods we tried and how it was surely worth the price but they, go try it. Also, I would give one more star IF they could find a time machine that would bring us back to a few months ago, when the place was empty, we ordered bubble tea to go and started talking at the table while waiting. We got comfortable and kept on talking for 5 more minutes after the bubble teas arrived. We were told that ”only in-house customers can sit, not customers with take out, so you can’t stay”. We’ve been going tens of times in the past 2 years and I’m being kicked out of an empty restaurant? Here’s your 4 stars: **** you.

Bubble tea menu was amazing, although I didn’t like what I got(hot rose tea) — I’m sticking with standard milk tea again after this one. My noodle bowl had way too much noodle to anything else ratio, considering the cost of it. The beef and rice dish was ok, although it was still spicy after we asked for no spice. I’d normally give it a 3 star, but they lost one for service b/c we had to ask 3 times for water, remind them about the bubble tea(came out late in the meal), remind them about the vegetables I ordered(they forgot) and chase down the check and they missed the spicy factor on the meal. Overall, could be better…

A disappointing little spot right outside the Joyce skytrain station. They use powders for their fruit flavours in bubble teas. I hate powders! I love real fruit! I want real fruit! I demand real fruit! I want to lead the real fruit revolution that bans the use of powders in all bubble tea houses worldwide! Haven’t tried the food — but come on, if they use powder for fruit I can only imagine!
