Historique

Fondé en 2008.

Bailey’s Local Foods started as a daughter-​father business with the daughter, Nina, organizing the business and the father, Wendell, as right-​hand man. Nina grew up farming with her dad doing chores together most mornings before the sun rose.

After a successful first year, Nina partnered with Rachael Ward who applied her business organization expertise to help the business grow and run smoothly. Rachael’s husband Andrew developed the online ordering system that allows members to easily choose the food they want.

After spending two busy years growing the business, Nina sold her share of Bailey’s Local Foods to Maryrose Ivanco, a long-​time customer.

We continue to bring the best of local to Kitchener-​Waterloo.
